Varanasi is the Spiritual City of India

Varanasi? If anyone sounds this word, it is very attractive word for the tourist and pilgrimage point of the view. It is holy city of India and it is also known as Banaras and Kashi. Varanasi is the virtuous place of Hindus and very old city of the world. Many pilgrims visit this place every year and they take bath in the River Ganges every morning and offer their prayers. There are number of shrines in Varanasi.

It is also known as ‘city of Temple’. The climate of Varanasi is very good of tourism point of view, in the summer night is so beautiful and the winters are very cold and the North India wind makes it place is so beautiful.Varanasi city is covered by the Ganga in three sides. Banaras Hindu University or BHU is a central university, It is a public central university situated in Varanasi, established by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, University was established in 1916.
